About Jeff Minton

 

Jeff Minton has over 35 years of experience as a Lead Designer, Project Designer, Project Architect and Project Manager working on projects in 27 states in the U.S. and 31 foreign countries. His experience is varied by being capable of wearing many different hats throughout the design process.

For the last 20 years he has focused on research, laboratory and healthcare facilities with varying degrees of complexity for institutional, governmental, and academic clients. While at HDR he was chair of Design for Others (D4O), a pro bono program providing professional services to non-profit organizations and public-private-partnerships for communities in need.

The decade prior to that, he specialized in the design of a wide variety of themed entertainment focused facilities and developments that ranged from intimate spaces to mass attendance venues. He also worked on branded product design.

The successful completion of his projects is facilitated through his skill in fostering design team collaboration, and blending together the interconnected functions and requirements of all phases of the project. He is an Alumni of the University of Tennessee, School of Architecture.
